Merry Christmas!

Bit of a mad week - very heavy snow fall effected the coast at the beginning of the week with matching freezing temperatures, minus 12, one morning when l took my trusty companion out.  Must admit l have suffered this week with the "the weather conditions mean deliveries have been delayed", well, that was the British excuse. A delivery from Italy left on the 17th and arrived with me on the 22nd and was delivered to the customer today, yet we cannot seem to deliver something from about 60 miles north of here! Moan over, busy week in between Christmas and the New Year with three wedding's, so a blog update may not make it till 2011!. So best wishes for Christmas and the New Year, have a great time.

Last September, l covered Caroline and Joe's Wedding at Sledmere House, Sledmere, East Yorkshire, it really was a great day. Having recently delivered the finished album, it was nice to get a card from Caroline and Joe yesterday.

It is lovely when l get feedback on the weddings l cover, Caroline works for the BBC, on the "Look North" television news programme and Joe is a BBC cameraman, so for them to take time out of their busy schedule, is much appreciated. Many thanks.

Lovely winter's day, bright sunshine, but as you would expect a bit on the chilly side. Aimee and Gavin

Few images from yesterday's Wedding and Reception of Aimee and Gavin at All Saints Church, North Ferriby and Tickton Grange, Nr. Beverley, East Yorkshire. Needless to say the weather played its part, getting to Aimee's leaving address would fill a blog on its own, the snow around Welton, East Yorkshire was many feet deep. Getting to church proved to be just as eventfull! A bride in wellington boots, is not something you see every day. But full credit to Aimee, Gavin, the Bridesmaids, Best Man, Ushers and Guests for making it such a good day. Thanks to Katie, Helena, Elizabeth and Abigail (the Bridesmaids), Stuart (the Best Man) and John, Greg and James (the Ushers). Mention also of the Vicar at All Saints Church, thanks for the relaxed approach to church photography and the work that must have gone in to making the church accessible and warm!.
